Local amenities

The village of Bisano, at the bottom of the Kube Italia hill, just one kilometre from the centre, has two restaurants - one more up market than the other - in a converted old mill. The second does home made pasta and has a bar with good local prosecco. Both are good. It's annual festival is unusually large and attracts around 5000 people from the neighbourhood.The towns of Loiano and Monterenzio, both less than twenty minutes by car have a wide variety of restaurants to choose from, and thirty minutes away is Bologna with all its attractions.

A short half hour drive takes you to the top of the pasa del futo on the way to Florence - with breathtaking views and a good restaurant from which to survey the countryside.

There is a seasonal outdoor swimming pool three kilometres from Kube Italia and Villaggio della salute - an indoor spa with full amenities and a variety of indoor and outdoor pools five kilometres away. There are local organic farms and shops to visit, a beauty farm and horse riding.
